Penang; Air Itam Assam Laksa

This is the number one Penang Assam Laksa in Malaysia, a sin not to come here!!

The lovely orgasmic assam laksa to be accompanied byt a nice cold sugar cane or soya bean, cheers to the quality of the drinks too.

This is just ur little heaven in malaysia.... i dead damn love assam laksa, and there is no better place to try then but in the number one stall in Malaysia. Penang had been the birth of the Penang Assam Laksa, and this place is "the" place for that indulgence.

Smooth broth of a soup with crushed fish wth a finishing touch of prawn paste... u can sense the luxury in its smell.
With cucumber, onion, pineapple and mint as accompaniment with its noodle... Just orgasism in ur mouth

This is a must eat place for u assam Laksa fan. Its is wonderfully accompanied with a stall selling sugar cane or soya bean, just a lovely combination.

Vietnam, HCMC; Ben Thanh Restaurant

Ben Thanh market is located right in the center of Ho Chi Minh city. From there, it's easy to walk to other main attractions in the city. Backpacker streets, Pham Ngu Lao and De Tham, are just within a short walking distance from here. You can find a lot of souvenirs and local products sold here. Price is highly inflated, and you have to bargain extremely hard. They also have a night market there, opening from 6pm till 10pm. Not sure if the night market is still in operating now. Food, souvenirs, handcrafts are sold, and it is really nice experience of Ho Chi Minh local life.

f you are in the mood for shopping, do not miss the Ben Thanh Market. Centrally located and popular with tourists, it sells everything from fake Nike shoes to silk ao dai.

This is one of the best places to pick up conical hats and ao dai. The market and surrounding streets make up one of the city's liveliest areas. Everything that's commonly eaten, worn or used by the Saigonese is available here: vegetables, meats, spices, sweets, tobacco, clothings, household items, hardwares, coffee powder and souvenir worthy items.

Known to French as Les Halles Centrales, it was built in 1914 from reinforced concrete; the central cupola is 28m in diameter. The main entrance, with its belfry and clock, has become a symbol of HCMC.This place i sstumble upon is an awesome stop for ur dinnering... Fantastic with awesome pricing, Spend like a beggar, eat like a king.

What are the few things that i had ordered? There is this dish that is a kind of BBQ beef, the Beef is Grilled on top of a roof plating places on an open fire. U couldnt find anything quirkier than this.

And it only cost me 90,000 dong (Rm 13.90). An awesome experience. then there are ala carte dishes, example: i ordered Crab and Aspargus soup - tasty for only 30,000 dong (RM 4.60), Frog meat cooked in 2 different style - Butter fried and lemon peanut sauce; 55,000 dong each (RM 8.50). A Plate of sauteed Vege, Leek, Bok Choy etc etc at 30,000 dong (RM 4.60).

There are severely many many of choices to choose from. Another interesting dish is the Snapper, there are few ways of presenting it, the one i ordered was a huge Fish with a steamboat setting, in Some Sweet Thai soup, not Tom Yam though, not that great - would had ordered the Grilled one, to be eaten with their savoury leaves and rice paper...

Rating: 82% ( Awesomely worth ur cash for the quirkiness of the dish) - I had been back there twice.

This Stall is located at the Night Market around the Ben Thanh Market, There are few stalls and the uniform for this stall is blue, Enjoy a nice awesome dinner session with the good looking and beautiful waitress and waiter for the evening.

Vietnam, HCMC; Snowee Ice cream

Awesome travelling around Vietnam, the gem of SEA... as i was just shopping mall hopping, i stumble onto this place.... a nice quence of thirst and chill for a warm sunny day.

This reminded me of "STONECOLD" ice cream i had in Taiwan and HK... Awesome awesome....

High quality ice cream, many many for your delightful taste... i think this actually has more that 31 flavours of Baskin Robbins, Unlike the Rum and Raisins here in Malaysia, the Ice cream here really has that kick of Rum right up ur behind. Thetechnic that had been in place in presenting this ice cream is also weirdly perculiar.

They actually mixes the ice cream u like, slap it on a wooden block with icing sugar, flattens the ice cream, and mixes nuts and chocolate sauce, caramel, marshmallow etc etc, depending on your liking. When i was here i choosed, Triple chocolate which incooperates everything chocolate - Damn it, its awesome!!!

Generally the pricing is of the followings:
Regular: 50,000 dong (Rm 7.75, USD 2.53) - Single scoop of ice cream
Supreme: 80,000 dong (Rm 12.40, USD 4.13) - Doouble scoop of ice cream

Not much history that i can gather as there is no online information

Ratings: 90% (An awesome stop for hot day of walk - Superbly awesome)

This is a chain franchise that u can get thruout Vietnam, This was taken in a Shopping Mall in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, VINCOM Mall...

PJ; Italiano - Casual italian dining

Wondering where u can capture the essence of good european food? perhaps italian?? famous for their great traditional dishes: Pizza, Risotto, Pasta...... etc.... Drop by this rather newly face lifted shy Italian restaurant right in the Heart of SS2.

I had been here before few times, and i can only tell that the standards are getting better. Emaculate and accurate ambient setting for ur palatable adventure.

They preserve as much Italian styling interior design and furniture. Good job, However u have Bangladeshi here serving and taking ur orders, Rather acceptable command in english and proffesionalism in comparison to many places that mostly run by Burmese staffs...

They Have lunch sets that are more than worth for ur cash, Set price tags at 10.90, 14.90 and 16.90, depending on the combination that u have matched, Set Comprises of, Soup of the day, Entree ranging from Pasta, Rissotto, Lamb chops to Lasagna etc etc, Ice lemon Tea. Valid only on Lunch time period on weekdays.

They somehow manage to hold in as much authenticity as they can, pretty good. Plating is great - fine dining style (for those with exquisite taste). Extra promotion to that is that u are able to add on either Salad or Tiramitsu cake for only RM5 or Coffee or Garlic Bread for RM3.

Variety of choices from the ala carte menu as well. In addition, now they are promoting their "Flamming August", where several dishes are discounted 20%, with presentation of a certain boucer that is freely available in the Restaurant... Whats the point? hahaha.

The Desert was great, for RM5, Its awesome, I had better but aint RM5 for dead dure hahaha.

KL; Ribs by Vintry

I was here for a birthday of a close friend, so for that "Happy Birthday Jason"!!!. Was here for the first time but the food blown me away, compelling me to share this with others.

King of all the ribs: Barbarian BBQ Ribs!!! - Finger licking good...

Ribs and wine - one stop - at Ribs by Vintry, Damansara Heights. A relaxed atmosphere (yes please do eat your ribs with your fingers letting the sauce drip down to your elbows and a sticky tongue dabbing ring of sauce develop around your lips and up to your cheeks), cosy set up and a fantastic wine selection make for a comforting and tummy satisfying evening with friends or family.

You already know the two reasons to visit - ribs and wine. Starting with ribs, the waiter told us that the braised ribs are the most 'special' but our table thought the BBQ pork ribs and the butter cream pork ribs gave them a good run for that honour. Portions are generous and accompanied with some type of vegetable most often mashed potato and coleslaw. Around RM60 will get you a large rack of ribs enough to share or to take home some leftovers. If you are only going along to accompany the carnivore in your life there are a number of other menu options that won't leave you needing a coronary cleaning before midnight.

The Vintry house salad is pretty filling, packed with fresh leaves, cherry and sun dried tomatoes, olives and a tangy papaya dressing. You could also easily just nibble on the cheese platter while blissfully sipping away your hand chosen bottle of wine. Get a recommendation from the trained waitstaff or walk around the racks and coolroom to see for yourself the great assortment of award winning wines from around the world. A decent bottle of wine starts from around RM125 and there is no corkage for wine purchased from the cellar.

So many of us, we decided on variety if dishes for tasting;

Pork ribs sauteed in butter cream & curry leaves-infused sauce. Could have used some bread to mop up the thick, robust gravy.

BBQ pork ribs. Their signature dish really satisfies, though I'm inclined to believe that Checkers nearby still serves chunkier, more succulent ribs.

Beef ribs braised with red wine herb sauce. Tender, but the sauce was too salty and overpowering. Would it be sacrilegious to say we prefer Tony Roma's?

Tom Yum Spaghetti. This might sound like a weird combination, but they were DELICIOUS! I can’t stop picking on the crispy pork lards too. YES, you hear me right; you can actually have crispy pork lards in your spaghetti.

Barbarian Ribs.  I’m not kidding.  Eat it with your fingers (and ruin your manicure).  Tear the meat apart with your teeth (and wonder why it doesn’t take any effort when the meat literally falls off the bones).  Lick that delicious barbecue sauce that clings to the meat.

Rating: 96% (Super Awesome!!!)- but do keep in mind, ur paying for the taste, cost wise "expensive"!!
