SUBANG: Chong Qing Steamboat

Chong Qing Steamboat Sunway
Many many options to choose from, ready to eat here hahaha
Passing by Sunway, after shopping at pyramid and sick of comersialized food there - pop by the shop lots area opposite the mall. Sunway had been famous for their Steamboat, STEAMBOAT CENTRAL MALAYSIA hahaha.... there are several restaurants thre, this is one u have to try too, located in proximity to the most Famous one Yuen Steam Boat.

This Restaurant was started 5 years back by Mr Alan Loh and Wife, Ah Ping a Chinese immigrant that had found love and found here this successful business. She is from Chong Qing, Szechuan China. The birthplace of the spicy Malat (Spicy Pepper) used in lots of food. Also One of the broth options that u can order.

There are hell lots of choices that u can choose from, and trust me the choices are not dissapointing, i didnt even manage to finish trying all the variety hahaha. they have huge crabs and huge prawns, bacon, lamb, chicken, lots lots seafood options from clams, bamboo lala, lala, oysters, scallops etc etc. vast variety of Vege as well, Kang kung, potatoe leave. Bak Choy, mushrooms (Enoki, Eringgi, Black chinese mushrooms, button mushrooms............ etc etc)... Menu is too vast if i continue typing this blog will nvr end.
Nice bacon!!! slurp!!!

Many many pickin' for ur dippin'...
This restaurant have 4 types of broths for you to choose from which is Ma La (Peppery Spicy), Suan Cai (Sour Veg), Herbal and Tomyam.

Choice for that night was Tom Yam and Herbal, kinda good balance combination of spicy hot and subtlety.

Just wait for it to boil and Dip in!! u can control the intensity of the fire as u like...

There are also special options of Bacon, Beef or Lamb in nice thin slices that u can dip in. Make sure not to over cook those, taste awesome with the right amount of cooking hehehe

For ur drink options u have 2 variety of herbal tea, hmmm but i do think option of some aerated water is necessary.

As for ur desert: U have fruits - mainly Water Melon
and 6 options of Ice cream where the options varies daily and availability.

Ample amount of sauce options: Sesame oil. parsley, spring onions, chili, cili padi, friend shallots.... etc etc...

The ambience is quite joyous, however hmmm kinda hot inside, not burning hot but not a comfortable temp for ur dining. what to do cant help it its Steamboat - every table seems to be releasing heat haha...

But u do have options to eat outside where its breezy, too bad if it pours though.

Nice helpful waiters, mostly foreigners so maybe some language barrier but they do get my message across haha, the important thing is that there were helpful
