Singapore: Food Rebublic Vivo City

As i was pondering to locate my transport back to Malaysia, i stumbled onto this place, at my first impression it was just another Malaysian food place nicely commercialized for us consumers to go.

VivoCity is the largest shopping mall in Singapore. Located in the Harbour Front precinct, it was designed by the Japanese architect Toyo Ito. Its name is derived from the word Vivacity. According to Mapletree Chairman Edmund Cheng, VivoCity "evokes a lifestyle experience that is modern, stimulating and accessible to everyone, a place bubbling with energy and flowing with vitality". At the end of the first week after its official opening on 1 December 2006, the mall had recorded nearly a million visitors.

There are two giant Food court — a 2,200 square metre Kopitiam Group facility in Basement 2 and another spread over 2,500 square metres run by the BreakTalk group, which is a Food Republic food court in similar concept at its sister food court at Wisma Atria.

I Headed out there and tried this bowl of dried spicy noodle with a side dish soup. to me the pricing was fair to Singaporeans but kinda pricey to us malaysian, I had this bowl of noodles for S$8 with S$2.80 for a cup of Barley Lime Juice, of course for us malaysian, we have better food for a way better price, but nothing to blame - its the currency exchange hahaha... The noodles was immaculate, right amount of every spices and ingredient. Kinda a must try food in this place.
